
Armenia has sent 28 applications for $ 43 million to the Eurasian Development Bank to finance social sector projects. According to the press service of the bank, the most numerous applications for grants have been received from Armenia.
The Eurasian Development Bank, as the fund manager of the Stabilization and Development Eurasia Foundation, summarized the results of the applications received within the framework of the Second ESCF grant competition.
An invitation to participate in the competition was sent to Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. 12 applications for $ 25.4 million were received from Kyrgyzstan, 6 applications from Tajikistan - $ 16.1 million. The Eurasia Foundation's Stability and Development Foundation has received 46 applications to finance a $ 84.5 million project.
Most of the applications are social security and defense projects, including food security - 15 applications, education and training (14 applications) is in the second place, and in the third place - the effectiveness of public administration (11 applications). 6 applications for funding health care projects have also been received.
The average amount of money in one application made about $ 1.8 million.
The EDB has started the study of applications received. Proposals for Grants will be Submitted to the Eurasia Foundation's Stability and Development Board.
