In 2017, the Armenian banking system paid taxes to the state treasury of 40.1 billion drams, an annual increase of 16.6%.

According to the RA State Revenue Committee, 12 out of 17 banks are among the 100 largest taxpayers in Armenia by the results of 2017. Top five are Ardshinbank, VTB Bank Armenia, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank, Ameriabank and Armbusinessbank. The top five in 2017 paid taxes to the state treasury 20.4 billion drams (22.2% annual growth), of which 18.5 billion drams made direct taxes (annual growth of 22.5%).

Ardshinbank is the leader among the banks in terms of paid taxes, which occupies the 26th place in the list of top taxpayers of Armenia (last year -the 39th place), paying 4.7 billion drams, including direct taxes of 4.4 billion drams. It is followed by VTB Bank Armenia – the 29th place (as last year), which has paid 4.2 billion drams, direct taxes of 3.6 billion drams, ACBA Credit Agricole Bank – the 30th place (last year - the 31th place), has paid 4.2 billion drams ($ 3.7 billion), Ameriabank is in the 32th place (last year in the 25th place ), has paid AMD 4 billion, direct taxes of 3.8 billion drams, Armbusinessbank is in the 43th place (last year in the 45th place), has paid AMD 3.3 billion, including direct taxes of 2.8 billion drams.
