Yerevan and Lyon have been connected by a direct flight. The first regular flight by "Armenia" airline took place on April 19.

"Yerevan-Lyon route serves only Armenia Airlines," Spokeswoman for the Civil Aviation Department of Armenia Satenik Hovhannisyan said, adding that other air companies are also expecting new destinations.

Gevorg Khachatryan, Spokesperson of Armenia Airline, noted that regular flights from Yerevan to Lyon will be carried out twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
