The Cheese Producers' Union, in view of the recent events in dairy products, reports its deep concern.
In a report released by the Union, it is particularly mentioned:
"Similar complaints of milk producers in the recent period to solve the problems we are facing is like a political move, which can only result in political decisions or solutions.
In the livestock breeding, milk production and processing chains, the self-employed industry for decades has been guided by the pure logic of price formation in market relations.
Yes, we all realize the importance and the reasons for the problem. The Union has repeatedly raised the need for the establishment of a milk-producing institute in the Republic of Armenia, which is of strategic importance for food security, by pinning the existing problems in the field.
We, milk processing companies, urge farmers to produce all the livestock dairy farmers in a more civilized way to make their voice heard. Creating an appropriate platform for the discussion of the problems created by the newly formed government.
At the same time, we hope, as soon as possible, to start the formation and regulation of the milk production sector in Armenia and express full readiness to assist in this process. "
