Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Vahe Nikoyan and Director of the Central and West Asia Department of the Asian Development Bank, Werner Leipack, Director of the Armenian office of the Bank Shein Rosenthal, Head of Urban Sustainable Development Investment Program Nora Martirosyan visited the Davtashen-Ashtarak highway on the bypass road of Yerevan.

According to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Yerevan Municipality, presenting the course of the project and providing detailed information on the already implemented works, including the safety measures undertaken during the construction, the responsible persons assured that the road was constructed in accordance with international standards.

After being acquainted with the work, Werner Leipack expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the construction, the speed and the control, emphasizing the importance of the work aimed at security measures. He also expressed conviction that the works will be completed within the specified timeframe.

It should be mentioned that the project is implemented by Asian Development Bank credit resources.
