The government made changes and additions to the decision "On approval of the previously accepted application of Yerevan Chocolate Factory CJSC to use the privilege of exemption from customs duty for the import of technological equipment, its components, raw materials and materials, as part of the investment program implemented in the upper sector.

Artsvik Minasyan, Minister of Economic Development and Investment, noted that it was necessary to introduce additional products for implementation of the investment program, which were not included in the list at the time of application submission.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, referring to the decision, said that such projects are being discussed at almost every session of the government. "I hope this message is clearly perceived in our economic field and this means that new equipment is being imported into the Republic of Armenia to expand production volumes. We are more than interested in the fact that business in Armenia is activated and its tendencies are high. We hope that in the context of the government's activity, we will give new impetus to the activation of investments and business, and the ongoing political changes will not only hinder the process, but will create more favorable conditions, "said the Prime Minister.
