The index of economic activity in Armenia is continuously growing, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

"According to the data released today by the National Statistical Service, we had a double digit economic activity index in July- 11.1 %, and in June - 9.6 %.

The index of economic activity for the seven months of 2018 has also grown to 9.3 %, against 8.9 % in June.

As I said on August 17, changing the structure of economic growth is one of our political priorities. We need such an economic growth that each percent of which people could feel in their lives.

But it is important that the government pursues a balanced and cautious policy in order to avoid economic shocks.
