The meeting of the working group on public transport reforms in Yerevan took place, during which the members of the group were presented a revised version of the new public transport network project, as well as the comparative indicators of the network options based on which the consultant was instructed to finalize the network and present a final report.

During the meeting the main criteria for network maintenance were discussed, which relate to rolling stock, management and control mechanisms, system operation and maintenance.

"The effectiveness of the designed railway network is of practical importance only in the case of an efficient transport system component and an effective management model. The network management model developed by us is the key to efficient networking, maintenance and monitoring of the network.

For network service we have studied diesel fuel, compressed natural gas and electric bus models offered by European, Russian, Belarusian and Chinese manufacturers, we have proposed the main standards of network maintenance, "said Vahe Nikoyan, deputy mayor of Yerevan.
