In the run-up to the introduction of the Agricultural Risks Insurance System in Armenia, agriculture crediting by banks since July 1, 2018 has registered sharp acceleration from 0.9% to 7.4%.

In this context, the aggregate volume of agricultural commodities in the GDP structure recorded a 5.5% increase in the first half of 2018.

According to analysts of AmRating, this indicates the improvement of the expectations in the agricultural sector, which is also resulted by the active involvement of financial organizations in subsidizing the agricultural loan interest rates, as well as the introduction of anti-hail systems.
