Delegation headed by Armenian NA Speaker Ara Babloyan, who is in the Czech Republic on an official visit, met with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrei Babish.

The RA NA Speaker noted that the Armenia-EU cooperation also occupies an important place in the agenda of the Armenian-Czech cooperation. According to Ara Babloyan, the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union has opened a new page in the relations between Armenia and the European Union.

Speaking about the Armenian-Czech economic ties, Ara Babloyan expressed satisfaction with the strengthening of these relations over the past few years, noting that the potential is not exhausted yet.

The head of the parliament underscored that Armenia expects direct investments by Czech businessmen in Armenia's economy.

The Speaker of the National Assembly informed that after the change of the RA government the co-chair of the Armenian side of the bilateral intergovernmental commission on economic issues has already been appointed and preparations for the fourth session of the commission are being held.
