RA Minister of Agriculture Artur Khachatryan received the Lebanese delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lebanon Maya Dagher to Armenia on 5-day visit.

The meeting was aimed at discussing opportunities for strengthening business ties between the two countries and implementing new investment programs.

The representative of the leading producer of potato chips in the Middle East, Daher Group, noted that they are interested in potato cultivation and chips production in Armenia with the aim of exporting ready-made products to Russia and other countries of EEU.

Lebanese businessmen were also interested in the registration of pesticides and fertilizers in Armenia, cooperation in in veterinary sanitary and phyto-sanitary and other spheres.
