The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia proposes to carry out the compensation provided to the villagers in cash. Artur Khachatryan, Minister of Territorial Administration, said this in a conversation with journalists.

According to him, in the previous years, the support was provided in such a way that the money to be paid to the villager was directed to his taxes.

"We propose a different approach - to increase the amount of cash support," the minister said, adding that until August, in terms of damage, the situation was much better than in previous years.

The damage caused by frostbite and hail, according to estimates, amounted to about 6 billion. There was a damage of even 12 billion in previous years.
