Armenia's Minister of Economic Development and Trade Artsvik Minasyan said in a conversation with journalists that after the Velvet revolution Armenia has received more than $ 1 billion investment proposals.

According to Minasyan, many citizens and representatives of organizations visited the ministry, inquired about Armenia's investment climate and made investment announcements.

"If we sum up the numbers announced by them, they exceed $ 1 billion. But we also try to estimate the realistic figure. we have come to the conclusion that $ 240 mln from is at least realistic, "the minister said.
