Pension payments of Armenian citizens were transferred to the Central Depository ten days ago, with 1.5 months delay, said the head of the RA State Revenue Committee David Ananyan.

To the question whether the damage will be compensated, Ananyan answered, "All the money has been transferred. Let us remember that from July 1, 5% paid by citizens to the accumulative pension system, fell to 2.5%. When such a thing happens, electronic systems need updating, and that takes time. It took us 1.5 months. After solving technical problems, all the money was transferred to accounts."

Responding to the question, that according to the decision of the RA Constitutional Court, technical issues should not affect the citizens, the SRC head responded: "Then let the technical issues be solved by the Constitutional Court. If a citizen wishes to exercise his or her constitutional right, then a reasonable period of time should be given for the relevant works after the law changes".
