The residence of the President of the Republic of Armenia is moved from Mashtots 47 to Baghramian Street, 26.

The draft law “On Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law“ On Ensuring the Activities, Maintenance and Social Guarantees of Officials ”was adopted by the National Assembly in the second reading and in full.

“After the adoption of the law in the first reading in the 24-hour mode, the author did not make any proposals regarding the presidential residence. A RPA proposal was made that dealt with the procedure for using other persons by plane and the Prime Minister’s helicopter. Our position is that this proposal has nothing to do with the project. The project concerns only the residence of the President and the Prime Minister, ” said First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan.

64 deputies voted for the bill, 2 against, 1 abstained.
