The Japanese technology giant SoftBank intends to create its own online payment system and is going to leave behind the leaders: PayPal, Alipay and Apple Pay.

The bank has been negotiating with international banks on creating such a consortium.

The intention of creating a payment system is explained by the desire to buy banks software Swiss company company Temenos Group for 10 billion Swiss francs and talks on the acquisition of a number of assets, including the acquisition of a 5 billion loan, secured by the share of SoftBank in Uber.
