Russian Sberbank's net profit in the Russian Accounting Standards in January 2018 amounted to RUR 65.3 billion. Profit grew by 12.8 percent compared to January of the previous year, Vedomosti reported.

Net interest income increased by 7.4% making 102.8 billion rubles (due to increase in operating assets and decrease of interest rates on clients' funds).

Income from commissions increased by 20.3% to 26.4 billion rubles. The main growth was provided by banking cards (+35.9%), settlement transactions (+ 23.1%) and commission fees for insurance products (+ 31%).
