The Iranian-Georgian Chamber of Commerce is dissatisfied with Tbilisi's decision to freeze bank accounts of Iranian citizens in Georgia, Financial Tribune quotes the head of the Chamber.
According to him, the issue of restoring accounts has been put forward before the Georgian government, but Tbilisi has responded negatively. The Commercial Chamber also asked the Iranian Ambassador in Tbilisi to settle the issue.
It is reported that this decision of Georgia has been affected by the US pressure against Iran. Georgian banks have stopped serving Iranians.
