The US state of California has ordered Samsung to pay $ 539 million to Apple Corporation for corporation patent infringement, US Today reports.

Samsung will pay $ 533.3 million for industrial sample patent infringement and $ 5.3 million for invention patent infringement.

Apple hopes to receive one billion dollars because Samsung has earned at least $ 1 billion with patents and should pay the full amount of smartphone sales in which patented technologies and design solutions have been illegally used.

Although Samsung has admitted guilt, they insist on paying $ 28 million, as the Korean manufacturer is convinced that the "borrowed" components and design elements are not the whole device but only a small part of it.
