The law on protection of currency borrowers entered into force in Russia, reports Regnum.

Banks are obliged to inform borrowers in foreign currency of risks that arise during the exchange rate change.

Warning will be written on the first page of the loan agreement with large letters. In case of failure to comply with this requirement, financial institutions will be subjected to a large fine in accordance with the consumer lending law.
