In the third and last readings the RF State Duma has adopted a bill on small business deposit insurance in banks. According to the new document, the maximum size of insurance compensation for small businesses will be close to the amount that is applied for individuals' deposits (1.4 million rubles).

According to RIA Novosti, the bill will come into force on January 1 next year. Accordingly, the deposits of small and micro enterprises are subject to insurance, both in rubles and in foreign currency, if they are in the banks registered in the Russian Federation.
