The volume of Russian foreign currency deposits decreased by $ 6.4 billion last year. At the same time, the ruble deposits have increased by 1 trillion rubles, the Russian Bank said.

According to statistics, as of June 1, the volume of deposits in the Russian banks amounted to 26.7 trillion rubles, of which 21.2 trillion were deposits in rubles, and 5.5 trillion in dollars.

Thus, the share of foreign currency deposits has decreased from 28.4% to 20.6%.

Since 2014 the average annual growth of foreign currency deposits has been 2.8%.
