In January-June 2018, Georgia exported cigarettes worth $ 53.7 million, 11 times more than the same period last year, according to the National Statistical Service of Georgia.

It is reported that nearly the whole amount of exported cigarettes is being re-exported, meaning that a product that is not produced in Georgia is exported.

The main direction is Azerbaijan, where cigarettes worth $ 38.7 million have been exported.
