Net profit of Commerzbank AG, the second largest bank in Germany, in January-September 2018 was EUR 751 million, which is 14 times more than in the same period last year.
Net income before taxes amounted to 1.02 billion euros, which is three times higher than in the previous three quarters.
Earnings per share were 0.6 euros, versus 0.4 last year.
Net interest income increased by 10.2% to 3.405 billion euros.
