In Ukraine, VTB Bank - a subsidiary of VTB Group - has imposed fees and restrictions on cash withdrawals from its ATMs and branches, the company’s website reports.
Representatives of a financial organization are “forced” to resort to such measures because of the decision of the Kiev Court of Appeal to ban the alienation of all assets of three Ukrainian banks operating with Russian state capital.
The court in September ruled that the ban should be Russian compensation to Ukrainian companies for assets lost on the peninsula after the referendum in the Crimea.
VTB's subsidiary urges customers to remain calm and assist the bank in a difficult situation.Ж
