The Fintech Association is developing a technology that will allow paying for goods and services using mobile phone numbers, Tatiana Zharkova, director of the group of companies, announced.

“At the next stages of the development of the system, it will be possible to use the tools of payment systems not only in mobile banks, but also in other popular applications, including messengers,” Zharkova said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is known that the new technology will allow to make quick money transfers. Soon the system will start to work in an experimental mode.

The operator of the fast payment system will be the Bank of Russia. Financial transactions will be carried out through the National Payment Card System.

It should be noted that the banks participating in the pilot project will pay a commission only for making a deal. Entrance fee to the interbank and payment systems will not be charged. The cost of services should not exceed six rubles per transaction.
