And here the question is not that they keep black lists. The fact is that our government has offered banks a new approach to work - the so-called “responsible lending”. This means that before a bank extends a loan to a specific person, the bank and financial institutions must be convinced that this person will be able to repay the debt. It will depend on it whether the bank will issue a loan or not, ”said the Minister of Finance of Georgia.

According to the proposal of the Tbilisi municipality, social and medical programs will receive significant funding from the budget.

“Tbilisi City Hall proposes that the city’s budget in 2019 should be GEL 871 million, which is 50 million more than the budget of 2018. Expenses on social and medical programs will increase by 21 million lari and amount to 327 million lari. Part of this amount will be allocated to finance kindergarten vouchers, as well as to build 11 new kindergartens. In 2019, it is planned to spend about 25 million lari on transport infrastructure, ”said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
