The Belarusian Belgazprombank has decided to join the Bank of Russia Financial Transmission System, RIA Novosti reports referring to the Press Secretary of the Bank of Belarus Sergei Sklyarov.

“Belgazprombank, which has the status of a Belarusian and Russian joint bank, actively participates in the integration processes of the Eurasian Economic Union. Taking into account the growing volumes of foreign trade operations with the Russian Federation, the bank decided to join the Bank of Russia Financial Reporting System, ”said a representative of the bank.

He stressed that the bank intends to join this system in order to "diversify the ways of transferring financial information, optimize costs associated with international payments."

“The bank is also interested in using new technologies to organize the transfer of financial messages,” Sklyarov added.
