About 800 billion euros of assets of financial companies and banks of London can be transferred to Frankfurt am Main due to Brexit. Thousands of British financiers are also planning to move to Germany.

“We expect the transfer of assets of 750–800 billion euros from London to Frankfurt, most of which will be transferred in the first quarter of 2019,” said Frankfurt Main Finance.

The British and European banks are currently deciding whether to transfer only part of their business from London or all of their operations.
