VTB became the winner in the nomination “Bank of the Year of Russia” by the British magazine The Banker, the press service of the credit organization reports.

Before awarding the award, the commission examined VTB's financial indicators — tier one capital, assets and net income — as well as strategic initiatives, technologies, products, and services available.

VTB is awarded this prize for the first time.

The Banker is a monthly specialized magazine in English dedicated to international finance. The publisher is owned by The Financial Times Ltd. Published in London. The magazine was first published in January 1926. From the very beginning of its creation, the magazine sought to cover most international events.
