On behalf of Forum iFin-2019, the hacker group Silence sent about 80,000 malicious emails to Russian banks, financial institutions and payment systems.

A ZIP archive was attached to the text of the phishing letter with an invitation to the 19th International Forum on Electronic Financial Services and Technologies, which will be held in Moscow on February 19 and 20.

In November last year, the hacker group Silence conducted a massive cyber attack in Russian banks from the fake address of the Central Bank of Russia.

In the first 11 months of 2018, hackers made 4 billion computer attacks in Russia. Kaspersky Lab repels 404 million attacks. In the previous year, the number of attacks amounted to 2.4 billion. Of these, 12.3 thousand hacks were dangerous.
