The regulator’s press service informs that the National Bank of Ukraine authorized postal service operators to make transfers in national currency without opening an account.

"The National Bank of Ukraine extended to the postal service operators the procedure for issuing and revoking a license to transfer funds in national currency without opening accounts and provided for the possibility of granting such a license to them, ” said in the message.

According to the NBU, obtaining this license will help expand public access to financial services and increase users of such services.

The NBU resolution will come into force on February 7, 2019 - along with the law "On currency and currency transactions."
