Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to develop proposals to support private investors in startups. He stated this at the forum "Business Russia".

According to the head of state, currently there are not enough people investing in such start-up projects.

“It is important to encourage private investment, create special conditions, including tax, for those citizens who invest their personal funds in startups. As you know, they are called business angels, ”Putin said.

The president appealed to the government to work out together with "Business Russia" and submit the relevant proposals in a short time. At the same time, Putin noted the need to strengthen the legal protection of intellectual property, as well as the creation of attractive conditions for obtaining patents in Russia. Steps in this direction have already been made, the president noted.
