Wirecard, a global leader in digital finance innovation, began working with Oney Bank to launch Well.com in Romania. With this mobile application you can perform biometric fingerprint authentication.

Oney Bank is the financial unit of AUCHAN Romania group, whose annual turnover exceeds 1.2 million euros. Thus, buyers will be able to pay using the new application in more than 30 Auchan supermarkets throughout Romania. It is planned that in the future the service will also be available to retailers from other countries.

The Well.com app allows users to make payments using a fingerprint or QR code. Wirecard will present a wallet in a mobile application that will allow you to activate a card via 3D-Secure and process transactions that have been approved using a fingerprint or QR code.

Currently, the application is available for Android and iOS systems along with MasterCard and Visa cards issued in Romania.
