The Central Bank of Russia has offered the participants of the Fast Payment System not to charge a fee for money transfers made through it during the current year.
Today, Sberbank is the leader in transferring funds from card to card, with share of more than 60% of all transactions. Transfers in his system are free, but only if both cards, both the sender and the recipient, are issued by one regional division of a financial organization.
When transferring cards are issued in different departments, a fee of 1% of the amount, but not more than 1000 rubles, is charged. Transfers to cards of third-party banks are charged a fee of 1.5%.
In the Sberbank's fast money transfer system, by phone number the transfer fee is also 1.5%, but not less than 50 rubles and not more than 1000 rubles.
However, the monopoly of Sberbank will soon be abolished. In any case, the Central Bank, which has become the operator of the system of fast payments, hopes so.
