According to Bloomberg, the expenses of the six largest British companies due to Brexit are about 348 million pounds (456.3 million dollars).

Bloomberg has calculated the costs of such companies as the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), HSBC Bank, Hiscox Insurance Company in London, EasyJet, the producer of medicines AstraZeneca and Babcock, an engineering and defense contractor.

Companies are forced to go on additional spending, which is estimated at millions of pounds sterling, amid the UK's closest exit from the European Union. The country is waiting for another six months of uncertainty, so companies are preparing for the worst scenario of the “chaotic” Brexit without a deal.

Initially, the exit date from the EU was set for March 29. This week, the EU extended the deadline to October 31st.
