At the G20 summit, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping held more than 2.5 hours of negotiations.

The American and Chinese sides agreed on new terms of trade relations. White House representative Sarah Sanders said China agreed to buy more goods from the United States to reduce trade imbalances.

“China will negotiate the purchase of a significant amount of agricultural, energy, industrial and other products to reduce trade imbalances between countries,” said Sarah Sanders. In addition, she noted that in the near future, China will begin to buy products from American farmers.

Earlier in late September, the United States introduced a new 10 percent customs duty on imported Chinese goods worth $ 200 billion. At the same time, China set new customs duties in the amount of $ 60 billion on American goods. Earlier, the parties established tariffs for products worth $ 50 billion.
